I'm László Fodorpataki, a photographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. My photographs explore the boundaries between observation, memory and imagination.
I've never felt at home within a single photographic genre. Some photographs begin in observation, others in discovery, imagination or memory. Together, they suggest different ways of seeing the world.
This portfolio brings together photographs made over many years, organized into four interconnected collections: Seen, Found, Imagined and Remembered.
Photography, for me, is less about documenting reality than about exploring how we experience it.
